So we called this Rubic because there is one single brass square at the apex of this fitting, which, at a stretch, is resonant of the Rubik’s cube, after it's been levered apart in a desperate attempt to solve it! Whatever the etymology, the shape works - understated, classical, solid and very smart. Point it up or down. Protrudes only 14cm from the wall so excellent for smaller spaces. Class.
